Mt. Rainier

Oil on Canvas, 5'x3'.  (60"x36").  This was a commissioned painting, prints are available. 

Such a fun painting to work on, I love working large like this. It feels like you can walk right out into the snow. Mt. Rainier is really something amazing to behold in person. My wife and I drove up there (about 2 hours from where we live).  Hiking around, and looking at this mountain, it feels sacred. I can't think of another word to describe it, it just feels sacred. I'm really happy that the client wanted me to paint it so big.  Feels right.
