Searching for treasure

This is an old painting from years ago, but still one of my favorites.  I captured my son Eli as he was searching for some cool rock in the water, and also I think did a good job on the water above.  I like the vertical format, and I was very captivated by the horizontal line of white rocks along the shore.  

This painting won an honorable mention award in the Utrecht & American Artists Magazine 2nd Annual Art Competition, 2010.
