Emerald Curl

Oil on canvas, 30x15".  

Caught this wave at a magical moment out on the Pacific Northwest coast.  The light was perfect and the waves were strong! It was great fun to watch.  Painting this was also a lot of fun. Intimidating to start out, but once I got into the flow it seemed to go pretty well.
