The Gift of Life

"The Gift of Life". Oil on Canvas 18x24

Painted for the Latter-day Saints for Life 2026 conference in Provo, UT.

Painting our Heavenly Parents is definitely a daunting idea, but I decided to venture as this was the best (only) idea I came up with.

I was definitely influenced by a similar work by Rose Datoc Dall, I especially loved her idea with the veil. And thanks to Eli Wheeler who came up with the idea of having the baby going down into or through the veil.
